Number-plate story
5 minTake the 3 letters off a passing plate. Make up a name and a job (BXT = Bertie eXtra-Tall).
The alphabet game
15 minFind A, then B, then C on road signs. First to Z wins.
Would you rather
10 minSilly on purpose. 'Would you rather have spaghetti hair or cheese toes?'
Fortunately, unfortunately
10 minStory game. One says 'fortunately…', next says 'unfortunately…', keep going.

Muslin / small blanket each
Nap prop, sun blocker, spill wipe. Do not travel without.
Wet wipes + a wet-bag
The wet-bag holds sicky clothes / a wet swimsuit / a soiled nappy.
Ziploc of dry pants + trousers
One per kid, at the top of the boot bag.
Empty pot with a lid
For travel sickness. Trust us.
